Yates Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial projects spanning retail, multi-family, state/federal, military, gaming and hospitality sectors in Texas.

You will act as primary client contact, drive quality service and maintain positive relations while overseeing subcontractors, technical decisions, cost control and field construction oversight. Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial construction management experience.
• Medium to large projects (>$20M+) experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture for the project.
• Control costs and maintain profitability for the project(s).
• Manage field construction activity, engineering, and project support.
• Supervise development of project schedules and monitor progress.
• Review cost reports and analyze to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work within scope and specs.
• Administer project policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with architects, inspectors, and owner representatives to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and address safety concerns.
• Monitor project to ensure compliance and timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct regular meetings to review progress and plan next steps.
• Determine necessity of construction equipment and ensure maintenance.
• Oversight of Quality Control.
