Job summary

Mullins Mechanical & Welding, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive successful construction projects. The role will coordinate across teams, manage budgets, schedules, and documentation, and ensure client satisfaction on site-based assignments across project locations.

This position emphasizes leadership, safety, and quality control, with opportunities for growth within a fast-growing specialty contractor serving industrial and large facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or BS/BA in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR Training.
• Extensive experience managing budgets for construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
• Familiarity with construction management software programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all project documentation.
• Schedule and lead project hand-off meetings.
• Prepare construction budget by studying plans and costs; verify cost codes.
• Obtain appropriate permits.
• Finalize Schedule of Values for owner billing.
• Build and actively manage the project schedule with field supervisors.
• Prepare subcontractors and purchase orders; negotiate terms.
• Contractually manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare material status log and update continually.
• Collect and organize submittals and product samples for approval.
• Prepare productivity tracking logs and update daily.
• Prepare weld/inspection reports for tracking purposes.
• Prepare PMIs and review with the team.
• Create and distribute RFIs for project specifics.
• Prepare monthly project billing and invoices.
• Submit credit card receipts weekly.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by analysis.
• Price and formalize changes in project scope.
• Provide Notices of Delay to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with asst. PMs and superintendents on resources.
• Hire field personnel; coordinate onboarding with HR.
• Ensure client satisfaction balancing scope, time, cost.
• Review time sheets for HR/Payroll processing.
• Conduct annual or more frequent employee reviews.
• Manage safety, quality, and productivity on site.
• Prepare safety and quality incident reports for HR.
• Submit HR forms for reprimands/terminations/absences.
• Approve invoices in accounting software weekly.
• Keep jobsite clean and orderly.
• Update Opportunity Project Tracking Form for CRM.
