Job summary

Trautman & Shreve, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate mechanical and plumbing construction projects. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor engagement, ensuring project scope adherence and successful closeout.

The role requires leadership in coordinating field personnel, managing change orders, and maintaining financial transparency while ensuring safety compliance and timely communication with owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction/engineering with related experience.
• Proven ability to manage diverse mechanical projects across multiple sectors.
• Proficiency with Accubid, MS Project, and Bluebeam for planning and documentation.
• Familiar with local permitting, codes, and inspections procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.
• Oversee subcontractor scope, change orders, and timely payments.
• Coordinate project startup, meetings, and schedule management with owners.
• Finalize documentation, warranty letters, and closeout tasks.
• Monitor costs and project financials to prevent overruns.
• Coordinate site mobilization/demobilization and laydown areas.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals and deliver to CAD for drawings integration.
• Collaborate with safety to ensure project-specific safety compliance.
• Adapt daily tasks to project specifics and timeline constraints.
