Job summary

International Erosion Control Association in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex construction projects. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, change orders, RFIs, and full lifecycle execution.

The organization has over 50 years in the field, focusing on data centers, mission-critical facilities, and manufacturing. This role requires hands-on PM experience with mechanical contracting and strong cost-control skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing mechanical, HVAC, piping, or industrial ground-up commercial construction projects for data centers, healthcare facilities, or other mission critical work.
  • 3 years experience overseeing multiple complex commercial projects lasting 1+ year.
  • Recent experience as a PM for a Mechanical Contractor (Not a GC).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in the Richmond, VA area. This role oversees budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, change orders, RFIs, and full project lifecycle execution.

Our client has been delivering high-quality mechanical construction solutions for over 50 years and specializes in New Construction, Mission Critical Facilities, Data Centers, Special Projects and Manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recent experience as a PM for a Mechanical Contractor (Not a GC)
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Proficiency with Excel and project management software
  • Strong communication skills with GCs, owners, and subcontractors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction, or equivalent experience working up through the trades in management
