Job summary

Engtal, an established mechanical consulting firm, is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee HVAC and plumbing projects across laboratories, education, municipal, hospitality, and commercial markets.

You will own projects from scope through closeout, manage schedules and budgets, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical building-systems experience.
• Strong HVAC design and project-delivery experience.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, clients, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency with Revit and HVAC/load-calculation software.
• PE license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from initial scope and fee through construction closeout.
• Own project schedules, budgets, staffing, billing, and client communication.
• Lead HVAC and plumbing design, calculations, equipment selection, specifications, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and internal design teams.

• Support proposals, client development, and long-term relationships.
