Job summary

Murray Company in Las Vegas, NV, invites current university students to join our summer internship in Operations. You will work with project managers and teams across pre-construction, fabrication and field installation to gain hands-on project management experience on mechanical projects.

This paid internship is 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks, beginning May 2027, with typical hours Monday–Friday 7 am–4 pm and travel to designated project sites in the Las Vegas area.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university program and pursuing a related degree.
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to take initiative and work well in a team.
• Avail 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship (typically 10 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating mechanical projects.
• Support reviewing designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Help manage project documentation (submittals, RFIs, change orders, reports).
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and ensure specs.
• Assist with cost estimates and budgets.
• Support quality control measures and facilitate team communication.
• Assist with safety protocol implementation and compliance.
