Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial and industrial construction projects involving HVAC, plumbing, mechanical piping, and process piping systems. The role offers hands-on exposure to project management, procurement, scheduling, and cost control, with a clear path toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles.

You will collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and assist with budgets, milestones, and turnover

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience or education related to HVAC, plumbing, mechanical piping, or process piping preferred.
• Interest in building a long-term career in mechanical construction project management.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical piping, and process piping construction projects
• Assist with projects from preconstruction and startup through final closeout
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
• Review mechanical, plumbing, and piping drawings, specifications, and project scopes
• Coordinate HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, piping materials, and other project requirements
