You will translate requirements into practical layouts, develop site scopes, prepare RFPs, and lead design through to execution handoff, with travel up to 50% and a hybrid office model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Strong mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience with conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design material handling equipment to meet facility requirements.
• Develop site layouts and scopes of work.
• Prepare RFPs and support vendor selection.
• Lead engineering design from concept to handoff.
• Travel up to 50% for site visits.
• Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document designs and decisions for execution teams.
• Support line implementations and retrofits.
• Ensure milestones and KPIs are met.
