Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities including planning procurement, design review, project controls, and work assignments.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the construction schedule.
• Prepare documents to obtain quotes from vendors for materials, equipment, and other items.
• Track material deliveries.
• Interface with departments and staff on budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and other duties requiring discretion.
• Review engineering plans and vendor submittals.
• Monitor crew assignments to meet productivity goals.
• Conduct field walks and spot checks of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with county, state, and OSHA policies and regulations.
