Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Project Engineer for our Middletown, OH operations. You will manage project engineering activities, support procurement, design reviews, and help ensure schedules align with contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of construction project engineering experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management. Strong safety awareness and ability to read drawings are essential. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years similar construction Project Engineer experience.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities. Includes planning procurement, design review, project controls, work assignments, etc.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule
• Prepare documents to obtain quotes from vendors to provide material, equipment, and other specialty items.
• Track material deliveries.
• Interface with departments, divisions, and internal staff on issues related to budgeting, staffing, discipline of employees, training/development, scheduling and other activities involving discretion and judgment.
• Review engineering plans and vendor submittals.
• Monitor crew assignments to ensure productivity goals are met.
• Conduct field walks and spot checks of work being performed.
• Ensure compliance with county, state and OSHA policies and regulations.
