Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) in Durham, NC is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support capital projects in a manufacturing environment. You will apply CAD skills, coordinate drawings, and drive project timelines to deliver on-time results.

Qualified candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, about 5 years in manufacturing (nonwovens preferred), 3–5 years in project management, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Project or Planner, and procurement processes

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (preferred); other disciplines acceptable based upon work experience.
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment (nonwovens preferred).
• 3-5 years of capital project management or participation.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD), drawing standards, and technical writing.
• Experience with scheduling software (MS Project or MS Planner).
• Experience with procurement process (RFP, orders/contracts).
• Experience with utility and manufacturing control systems is a plus.
