Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer I to support the North American Distribution Team from Marietta office. The role involves translating drawings into functional systems, 3D modeling with clash detection, and creating installation layouts while coordinating with electrical, controls, and installation teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 33%

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 33% with occasional international opportunities.

Responsibilities

Translate customer drawings and specifications into a functional mechanical system.
3D modeling and clash detection management.
Create installation layouts and ensure safety and ergonomics.
Coordinate with Electrical, Controls, and Installation teams.
Travel to site for surveys and support installation.
