Pipeline Design & Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Project Lead to guide customer projects and stay hands-on in engineering. You will serve as the primary customer contact, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure deliverables meet Pipeline’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing custom automation, manufacturing equipment, and precision fixtures.
• Ability to mentor younger engineers and lead technical discussions.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Design custom manufacturing equipment, automated machines, and precision fixtures using Solidworks.
• Select and integrate motion-control and automation hardware (motors, actuators, sensors, PLCs).
• Define tasks, create and maintain project schedules, track budgets and risks.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and quotes for prospective projects.
• Lead design reviews with customers and Pipeline teams.
