Job summary

Exyte seeks a proactive Project Engineer - Mechanical - QC/W to guide and coordinate construction activities on a major GMP-compliant pharma project in the United States. This role partners with the Construction Manager to ensure milestones are met safely, on time, and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of construction experience in biopharma or cleanroom environments, with strong drawing and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of construction experience, ideally in biopharma and cleanroom settings.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, and project documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation to meet timelines.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, minutes, and progress reports.
• Monitor QA/QC to ensure design spec compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety audits.
• Track material deliveries and coordinate with procurement.
• Facilitate communication between field teams, contractors, and project managers.
• Identify issues impacting timelines or quality and help develop solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
