Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its College Station, TX facility. You will lead cross-discipline teams through design, procurement, and construction of HVAC, piping, and utility systems on major infrastructure projects.

You will own projects from concept through closeout, coordinate with internal SpaceX teams and external contractors, and ensure plans meet safety and performance standards while controlling budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years designing and building large commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with mechanical/process piping and HVAC system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of engineers, consultants, and contractors through EPC processes.
• Design, develop, and issue drawings, docs, and reports for large facilities.
• Prepare bid documents and manage contracts for subs across disciplines.
• Lead HVAC design for various facilities.
• Coordinate with SpaceX teams and external contractors.
