Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years engineering experience.
• 2+ years CAD experience in 3D design software (SolidWorks and/or Pro-E).
• ERP/MRP experience required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with product management, engineering and sales to translate market requests into design specifications.
• Revise designs to improve manufacturability and ease of production.
• Develop 2D and 3D models/drawings of assemblies using CAD software.
• Collaborate with supply chain to specify cost-effective components.
• Provide technical resources to customers and internal departments to address product inquiries.
