Job summary

Stuart Rush, a private manufacturer in Damascus, VA, seeks a CAD Design Specialist to support NPD projects with SolidWorks modeling and production drawings. You will produce BOMs, drawings, and design docs that meet company standards and schedule demands.

The role blends hands-on CAD with Configit configuration logic development and Q&A with project engineers. A readiness to learn and adapt in a small-team setting is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks with production drawings.
• Strong GD&T and BOM understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills and data organization.
• Systematic, rules-based thinker with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop SolidWorks models and production drawings for NPD.
• Produce and maintain BOMs, drawings, and design documentation.
• Review CAD deliverables for conformance to standards.
• Support design iterations and ECR/ECN workflows.
• Collaborate with NPD Director and engineers to meet schedules.
• Shadow Configit implementation and grow knowledge of configuration logic.
