Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and improve plating and mechanical processes for PCB production.

You will collaborate across the organization on design for manufacturability and cost-saving initiatives, while monitoring throughput, safety, and process performance. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and practical experience applying engineering concepts to solve problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience applying engineering concepts to solve problems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Initiates actions to resolve problems and improve process performance.
• Establishes performance measures and analyzes metrics to identify improvements.
• Applies structured engineering methods to deploy best practices for process control and yield improvement.
• Updates documentation of processes into work instructions and training materials.
• Ensures processes are cost-efficient and meet throughput/quality targets.
• Benchmarks current practices against industry standards and implements improvements.
• Leads capital project efforts to resolve capacity and tech issues.
• Collaborates across teams to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Participates in design reviews to ensure compatibility of processing techniques.
• Assumes responsibility for safety and environmental monitoring of processes.
• Limited travel may be necessary.
