We are seeking a Mechanical / Plumbing Inspector to support the City of Lynnwood's Development Services Department. This role provides mechanical and plumbing plan review and field inspection services for residential, commercial, and public building projects, ensuring compliance with the Lynnwood Municipal Code, International Mechanical Code (IMC), Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), and Washington State laws.
The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanical and plumbing code professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to public safety. This position requires daily interaction with developers, contractors, engineers, and the public.
This is a non-personal services contract position. The contractor employee reports directly to the Prime Contractor for all HR, disciplinary, and administrative matters, while receiving work direction from City of Lynnwood management.
