Job summary

GD Barri is seeking a Nuclear Mechanical Planner to develop detailed maintenance work packages, coordinate materials and resources, and ensure readiness for execution across outage and ongoing maintenance.

You will review drawings and specs, plan mechanical maintenance on pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers and rotating equipment, and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, operations and field teams to meet nuclear safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed nuclear maintenance work packages.
• Plan mechanical maintenance activities involving pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, and rotating equipment.
• Review drawings, procedures, specifications, and equipment information to define work scope.
• Identify required tools, materials, spare parts, equipment, and vendor support.
• Develop schedules, resource requirements, spreadsheets, and planning documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and field personnel.
• Utilize computerized work management systems to track and update planning activities.
• Ensure work packages meet nuclear safety, quality, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
• Support outage, online maintenance, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities.
