Project Overview

The Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) at Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN, is a key project supporting national security and energy objectives. The project involves complex construction with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Job Summary

Supervise craft activities within a designated area, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Coordinate with other teams and report to Construction Management daily.

Major Responsibilities

• Oversee all field construction operations in assigned area.
• Ensure safety and compliance with environmental, safety, and health standards.
• Manage staffing, monitor work quality, and ensure design compliance.
• Train craft personnel and manage work schedules and progress reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and manage tools, materials, and safety protocols.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of work experience.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks, and obtain security clearance.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience with DOE, DOD, or nuclear construction projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management, and knowledge of codes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on DOE EPC projects, unionized labor, and environmental compliance.
