Job summary

Kelso Industries, an industry leader in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical solutions, seeks a Mechanical Pipefitter to support retrofit and mechanical system installation projects across Southern California. You will install, maintain, and repair piping systems and HVAC components on commercial and industrial sites.

This role requires 3+ years of pipefitting experience, the ability to read mechanical drawings, and a willingness to travel to various worksites.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3+ years of mechanical or pipefitting experience; retrofit experience preferred.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications.
Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to multiple worksites.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, valves, and mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Perform layout and fabrication of piping systems using various materials (copper, steel, PVC, etc.).
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on job sites.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed.
