Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design tasks and deliver complete mechanical engineering solutions. You will work under supervision on a range of projects, contributing to concept layouts, calculations, and drawings for construction and procurement.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial experience, a solid understanding of piping design, and proficiency with CAD/drafting standards, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSME or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with strong fundamentals.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of piping materials, standards, and design practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete designs for mechanical engineering assignments under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce preliminary designs and take-offs for estimates and procurement.
• Check consultant/vendor drawings for mechanical input and accuracy.
• Provide construction support and field data collection as needed.
• Furnish sketches and drawings sufficient for engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with design leaders across disciplines to ensure timely project completion.
