Job summary

Acara Solutions in Phoenix seeks an experienced Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) to lead design, integration, and commissioning of mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities and other high-tech environments.

Requirements: BSME, AZ PE, 5+ years in industrial facilities, strong piping/HVAC knowledge, AutoCAD/Evit proficiency; relocation assistance and up to 15% bonus on top of a base $150k-$180k.

Qualifications

• BSME degree required.
• PE active license in AZ.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with AutoCAD, Evit, or similar engineering design tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate mechanical designs for semiconductor manufacturing facilities and industrial projects.
• Design and evaluate mechanical systems, including HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, piping, and facility utility systems.
• Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform engineering calculations involving fluid flow, pressure drop, thermal loads, equipment sizing, and system performance.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve design interfaces and ensure project timelines.
