Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex semiconductor construction projects in the Phoenix market. You will guide mechanical systems for fabs, cleanrooms, and advanced manufacturing environments, coordinating with owners, design teams, and field leadership.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical PM, familiarity with $10M-$250M+ projects, and a background in construction or mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction.
  • Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing projects ranging from $10M-$250M+.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field execution.
  • Coordinate with owners, design teams, vendors, trade partners, and field leadership.
  • Drive project safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Support preconstruction efforts including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  • Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex semiconductor construction projects throughout the Phoenix market. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing contractor delivering some of the most technically advanced manufacturing facilities in North America.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of highly technical mechanical systems supporting semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs), cleanrooms, and advanced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field execution
  • Coordinate closely with owners, design teams, vendors, trade partners, and field leadership
  • Drive project safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction
  • Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success managing projects ranging from $10M-$250M+
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, scheduling, cost control, and project execution
  • Experience with contract management, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, highly technical construction environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
