Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. manufactures printed circuit board assemblies according to specifications and timelines. This Manufacturing Associate – Mechanical role supports setup, testing, and continual improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

The position emphasizes safety, accurate execution of work instructions, and collaboration with engineering to optimize processes and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience using electronics prep tools.
• Knowledge and use of IPC 610 and J-STD.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and perform transactions in Smarter Production System
• Follow safety protocols, material handling process, and written work instructions
• Set-up and operate press fit and detab machines
• Press components into circuit boards
• Perform torque testing and 1st piece run inspection process
• Maintain the condition of fixtures, tooling, and detab equipment
• Work with Coordinator and Engineering to improve processing
• Maintain a clean work area
• Performs other duties as assigned.
