Job summary

Technosoft Engineering is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to drive product development and production drawing activities. The role involves design execution, project coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate engineering outputs.

Job Overview

The role involves design execution, project coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of engineering outputs.

Experience in the medical device or biopharma industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Generate and maintain accurate 2D manufacturing drawings
• Support production drawing updates and revisions as required
• Work on engineering design tasks across multiple projects
• Participate in project coordination activities with internal teams
• Ensure drawings comply with design standards, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, and stakeholders for design validation
• Maintain proper documentation of design changes and revisionsSupport continuous improvement of design processes and outputs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drafting)
• Good understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to create clear, accurate, and production-ready drawings
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device or biopharmaceutical industry
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and tolerancing standards (GD&T preferred)
• Experience supporting production or manufacturing engineering teams
