Job summary

Technosoft Engineering in Pittsburgh, PA, a global provider of engineering services, seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years in oil & gas to design refrigerated tanks, tank foundations, and related processes, leveraging API 620/650 and EuroCode practices.

Ideal candidates bring experience in process design of storage tanks, carbon capture, safety studies such as HAZOP/SIL, and proficiency with Aspen HYSYS and AFT Fathom; you will work independently in a multinational team and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in oil & gas.
• Expertise in carbon capture, green Hydrogen, refinery unit, cryogenic storage preferred.
• Experience in Process design of Storage Tank, etc.
• Familiar with API, ASME Codes (B31.1/B31.2/B31.3; Sections I & VIII).
• Experience in safety studies such as HAZOP, SIL, etc.
• Independent, proactive with strong analytical and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering with a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in oil & gas industry.
• Expertise in carbon capture, green Hydrogen, refinery unit, cryogenic storage is preferred.
• Experience in Process design of Storage Tank etc.
• Good experience in Process simulation software like Aspen HYSYS, AFT Fathom.
• Familiar with international codes and standards including API, ASME Codes like B31.1, B31.2, B31.3 etc, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Sections I and Section VIII.
• Experience in safety studies such as HAZOP, SIL, etc.
• Should be work independently in a self-driven manner with professional approach.
• Possess strong analytical skill and effectively communicate technical data.
• Ability to interact effectively in multidisciplinary team environment, especially in multinational environment.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a team player.
• Proactive, meticulous, responsible and good working attitude.
• Can adapt in fast pace working environment.
