Job summary

Lexicon Solutions is hiring a full-time Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of custom mechanical components and assemblies for a diverse range of customers. The role will work closely with customers and internal manufacturing teams to transform drawings, specifications, and concepts into high-quality, manufacturable products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience with an emphasis in design and manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial).
• Sheet metal design or experience setting up parts in SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
• MRP / ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain MRP / ERP data relating to Engineering.
• Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
• Sheet metal design / build to print.
• Build to print manufacturing.
• Create engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, or Inventor).
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
• Conduct testing and analyze performance to improve product reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure successful product development.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources when required.
