Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician - B shift

Position Summary: Maintain the condition of manufacturing equipment, repair and replace failed components, interpret programmable logic controllers and circuit analysis, and perform preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot unknown problems and develop repairs to improve quality and efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using knowledge of programmable controllers and circuit analysis.
• Record maintenance activities in a computer-based system.
• Work daily with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, modify, and maintain PLC programs.
• Use test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
• Coordinate troubleshooting efforts, track downtime, and report information.
• Repair and maintain machinery like lathes, mills, welding equipment, presses, and automated lines.
• Understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings to solve problems efficiently.
• Reduce downtime through efficient work and root cause analysis.
• Commit to safety and quality; possess strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• At least 1 year experience in a production maintenance environment, preferably automotive.
• Experience with industrial machinery maintenance.
• Experience with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots.
• Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi products.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic.
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment.

Education/Training/Certifications:

• Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
