Job summary

Atterro in Blytheville, AR is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to help keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. This role features a rotating shift and a competitive hourly pay range from $24 to $40.

The candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, read mechanical drawings, and work with maintenance and operations teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other industrial machinery.
  • Inspect, align, rebuild, and replace mechanical components and respond to equipment breakdowns in a 24/7 operation.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete tasks safely and accurately.

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $40.00 per hour

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, steel, pipe, or heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and material handling equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment.
  • Millwright training, welding experience, CMMS experience, and forklift or crane certification are a plus.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and work at heights for extended periods.
  • Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds, with heavier loads moved using mechanical assistance.
  • Comfortable working in hot, dusty, noisy, and fast-paced industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety equipment.
Job Duties
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pipe mill, rolling mill, finishing, and production equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, overhead cranes, and other industrial machinery.
  • Inspect, align, rebuild, and replace mechanical components while responding quickly to equipment breakdowns in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete maintenance tasks safely and accurately.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments to perform repairs and equipment upgrades.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance records in the CMMS while partnering with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve performance and safety.

What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.
