Job summary

Furmano Foods in Pennsylvania is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain and repair equipment in our food production and labeling operations.

You will install equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, read blueprints, and work with the team to prioritize projects and order parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related mechanical experience; welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install new and existing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems including bearings, drives, hydraulics, and piping systems.
• Provide modifications recommendations and solutions.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams; follow instructions.
• Collaborate with team, coordinating with purchasing to order parts.

Furmano Foods is looking for Mechanical Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift.Individual must perform maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and support our food production and labeling operations. The role is responsible for work order completion of planned projects as well as addressing breakdowns, failures, and repairs. Applicants must be comfortable working in both team and individual contributor environments.

Only Candidates that meet or exceed the following position requirements will be immediately considered:

• A minimum of three (3) years of related mechanical experience with Welding experiencepreferred.

Successful candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• Install new and existing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical problems/ bearings, drives, hydraulics, and piping systems
• Provide recommendations and solutions for equipment modifications
• Interpret and follow Blueprints, diagrams, and instructions
• Must have the ability to work through technical questions with a team, prioritize projects and assign to workers on the team, and work with purchasing manager to order necessary parts. Must have the ability to communicate and work well with people on the team, and with other managers and lead personnel.

Salary: Up to $27.75 per hour

Earn Bonus Incentives:

2nd/3rd Shift Differential -$1.00 per hour

• 3rd Shift-overnight shift: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability-Saturdays mandatory during our busy season
