Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical in Fernandina Beach, FL. You will lead a team of skilled mechanics to maximize equipment uptime, ensure safety, and manage maintenance activities in a fast-paced mill environment.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, time management, and the ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends. Prior knowledge of JD Edwards and CMMS is preferred. WestRock is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering preferred with 2+ years mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers and models safety in maintenance area; supports safety programs.
• Leads a team of hourly mechanics and directs work to meet goals.
• Sets SMART goals and motivates crew through coaching and feedback.
• Monitors maintenance spending and ensures compliance with safety rules.
• Maintains equipment uptime while controlling costs and using proper parts.
• Troubleshoots equipment and provides direction to mechanics.
• Night and weekend duty as needed; on-call support for maintenance.
• Uses JD Edwards CMMS as primary maintenance tool.
