Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Manager to oversee plant mechanical maintenance planning and reliability. The role leads and mentors the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and reporting to the Director of Maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably with mining or oilfield experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate across teams in Austin and field sites in

• 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in a maintenance supervisory role demonstrating progressive leadership.
• Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage mechanical maintenance planning including preventive and reliability programs.
• Lead, mentor and develop the maintenance team; enforce safety procedures at all times.
• Review, approve and prioritize work requests for mechanical repairs and permits.
• Plan, schedule and execute mechanical maintenance projects and programs.
• Drive performance discussions and corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Preferred experience with slurry equipment, conveyors, drying and screening.

How You Will Make an Impact:

The Mechanical Maintenance M anager will be responsible for the plants Mechanical maintenance planning and reliability. The Maintenance Manager will lead, train and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times. The Mechanical Maintenance Manager will report to the Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing and implementing all Mechanical maintenance planning including preventative, preventive and reliability
• Responsible for leading all Mechanical maintenance repairs
• Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and Company safety regulations and standards
• Reviewing, approving and prioritizing work requests for mechanical repairs and all safety and work permits
• Planning, scheduling and execution of Mechanical maintenance projects and programs
• Successfully leads a technical team - mentoring, coaching and leading
• Participates in performance discussions and corrective action
• Preferred experience with slurry equipment, conveyors, drying and screening

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with 3 years in a maintenance supervisory role with exhibiting progressive leadership
• Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the site/facility.
• Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more.
• Frequently climbs ladders and stairs.
