Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions, headquartered in Austin, TX with operations in Kermit and Monahans, TX, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance planning, reliability programs, and a technical team at our Permian Basin facilities.

You will establish preventive and predictive maintenance, review work requests, ensure MSHA/OSHA safety standards, and mentor staff while coordinating with the Director of Maintenance to drive uptime and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance with 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement Mechanical maintenance planning including preventative, predictive and reliability
• Lead all Mechanical maintenance repairs
• Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and company safety regulations and standards
• Reviewing, approving and prioritizing work requests for mechanical repairs and all safety and work permits
• Planning, scheduling and execution of Mechanical maintenance projects and programs
• Successfully leads a technical team – mentoring, coaching and leading
• Participates in performance discussions and corrective action
• Preferred experience with slurry equipment, conveyors, drying and screening

How You Will Make an Impact:

The Mechanical Maintenance M anager will be responsible for the plants Mechanical maintenance planning and reliability. The Maintenance Manager will lead, train and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times. The Mechanical Maintenance Manager will report to the Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing and implementing all Mechanical maintenance planning including preventative, predictive and reliability
• Responsible for leading all Mechanical maintenance repairs
• Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and Company safety regulations and standards

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the site/facility.
• Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more.
• Frequently climbs ladders and stairs.
