Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead the plant's electrical planning and reliability in our Texas facilities. You will supervise the electrical team, ensure safety procedures, and mentor staff on all electrical projects from start to finish.

The role requires extensiveElectrical experience, supervisory track record, and knowledge of industrial NEC/NFPA/ISA standards. You will collaborate with operations, engineering and management to keep critical equipment running and

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years electrical experience with 5+ years in supervisory roles.
• Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical experience a must.
• Proficiency with NEC, NFPA, ISA, and other relevant standards.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment operation and maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Understanding of arc flash safety, short circuit and coordination studies, and maintenance principles.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, VFDs, and motor control.

Responsibilities

• Assist plants in managing spare parts inventory levels and storage.
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance reliability and inspection systems.
• Provide technical expertise and direction to plant, engineering and management.
• Support facilities in repair and replacement of major equipment, onsite and remotely.
• Plan, organize, and lead electrical projects from start to finish.
• Review and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards and regulations.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Reporting to the plant manager, theElectrical Managerwill be responsible for the plant’s electrical planning and reliability. The Electrical manager will lead, train and mentor the electrical team ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist plants in managing proper spare parts inventory levels, criticality, and storage
• Support and develop predictive and preventive maintenance reliability and inspection systems
• Provide technical expertise, support, and direction to plant, engineering, and management
• Support Atlas Energy facilities in the repair and replacement of major equipment, both onsite and remotely
• Plan, organize, and lead electrical projects from start to finish
• Review and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations

• Solid understanding of arc Flash safety, short circuit and coordination studies, and preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance principles
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate others, with strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Strong Knowledge of PLC, VFDs, and motor control.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the site/facility.
• Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more.
• Frequently climbs ladders and stairs.
