The position supports laboratory testing and manufacturing processes across multiple areas, with on-the-job and cross-department training provided. Responsibilities include performing tensile, impact, and hardness testing, preparing samples, documenting results, and ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed, while working across Receiving, Milling, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Cross-department training to develop skills.
• Experience with tensile, impact, or hardness testing preferred.
• Experience operating lab or manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience working around chemicals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and material testing activities.
• Prepare samples for testing.
• Perform tensile, impact, and hardness testing.
• Operate lab and manufacturing equipment after training.
• Document testing results accurately.
• Follow procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Participate in cross-department training and learn additional processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
