Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a student intern to join our multi-disciplinary team, working under the supervision of a licensed engineer on HVAC systems for educational, healthcare, commercial, and science & technology projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in Revit/BIM modeling, shop drawing reviews, and process improvements while contributing to project coordination and quality. Domestic site visits may be required as part of the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with engineering design software (e.g., Revit MEP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision in HVAC system design for building projects.
• Model in Revit/BIM from Schematic Design to Construction Administration.
• Review and markup shop drawings.
• Suggest improvements to processes, quality, and coordination.
• May visit job sites to verify conditions.
• Perform other duties as required.
