Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a student intern to join our multidisciplinary team in Arlington, VA, working under a licensed engineer. You will contribute to HVAC design, BIM modeling in Revit, and shop drawing reviews as part of ongoing educational and professional development.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in engineering design software (Revit MEP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed engineer, perform uncomplicated HVAC design tasks.
• Assist in Revit/BIM modeling of HVAC construction drawings from SD to CA.
• Review and markup of shop drawing submittals with oversight.
• Suggest improvements for process, quality, and coordination.
• May visit job site to verify conditions and observe progress.
