Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Nashua, NH team. The role focuses on mechanical testing of connectors and components to ensure reliability and performance.

The candidate will work in a lab setting, perform measurements, and collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to document results and support product development.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Strong mechanical, geometric, numerical, and statistical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret geometric drawings, schematics, and block diagrams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements and testing of connectors and components for mechanical performance and reliability.
• Obtain low level resistance with a 4-Wire Meter.
• Obtain force measurements using Instrons and related fixtures.
• Record, store, and analyze data in Excel; create graphs and reports in PowerPoint.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering; maintain accuracy and safety.
