TAIT is seeking a Mechanical Integrator I in Lititz, PA to perform basic mechanical integration for permanent installations and support project work under supervision.

You will learn to assemble, test, and align mechanical, staging, rigging, and motion systems while adhering to safety protocols. The role emphasizes collaboration, growth, and hands-on skill development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Formal study or training in a mechanical/technical role.
• Understands basics of TAIT products, processes, and integration standards.
• Basics of fabrication and troubleshooting: cutting, grinding, aligning, welding.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical docs.
• Familiarity with rigging, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in live entertainment.
• Willingness to travel 99–120 days/year.
• Based in Lititz or Wakefield preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical integration and installation tasks under supervision.
• Support shop testing, system assembly, and field installation with guidance.
• Learn tools, techniques, and safety practices through hands-on experience.
• Assist with installation and integration of mechanical, staging, rigging, and motion systems.
• Communicate clearly with peers and ask questions to build understanding.
• Participate in training and team learning opportunities.
• Coordinate mechanical elements into cohesive permanent installation systems.
• Troubleshoot and adjust during installation and testing.
• Contribute to team learning materials and standards.
