Performance Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Insulation Estimator for its PCI 556 Sacramento operations based in North Highlands, CA.

The role focuses on creating comprehensive estimates for bidding mechanical insulation work and coordinating with vendors, subs, and project teams. You will perform takeoffs, establish labor productivities, and participate in internal bid reviews while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering accurate cost analyses.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI's scopes.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented with cost analysis skills.
• Ability to read project schedules for sequencing.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques and bidding processes.
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or PlanSwift.

Responsabilités

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain relationships with area vendors for competitive pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside of our self-performing group.
• Understand market conditions for margin percentages.
• Involvement in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
• Participate in customer alignment objectives by maintaining positive relations.
• Contract administration for secured projects.
• Utilize wage and benefit schedules.
• Handoff secured projects to the Operations team.
• Assist in duties such as change orders and billings.
