Job summary

Performance Contracting Indianapolis, part of the Performance Contracting Group, is seeking a Mechanical Insulation Estimator. The role requires creating comprehensive estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, establishing labor productivities, and coordinating pricing with vendors and subcontractors.

The candidate will engage in bid reviews, customer alignment, and contract administration while ensuring accurate wage schedules and project hand-offs to operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional estimating experience in construction.
• Experience estimating mechanical insulation scope for subcontracts.
• Strong ability to read specifications and drawings for PCI’s scope of work.
• Proven track record in maintaining customer relationships.
• Proficient in wage and benefit schedules and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain vendor pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing when outside self-perform scope.
• Participate in bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
• Support customer relations objectives and contract administration.
