Job summary

IT8 is seeking a Mechanical Installation Leader in Texas to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems on site. You will read plans, diagnose issues, and work with teams to ensure safe, efficient operation of all systems.

The role requires mechanical assembly skills, interpretation of schematics, and strong welding/tool experience. Travel and valid passport/visa are mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling and adjusting mechanical components of automotive lines.
• Ability to interpret plans and schematics accurately.
• Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Involved in welding tasks and fabrications.
• Proficient with manual and electric tools (milling cutter, saw, lathe, etc.).
• Able to operate forklift or similar lifting equipment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• English language proficiency at a medium level or higher (mandatory).
• Passport and valid visa required (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems on site.
• Diagnose electrical problems and propose solutions.
• Inspect and test electrical systems for proper operation.
• Read and implement blueprints, diagrams and specs.
• Provide maintenance to machinery in installations.
• Maintain records of installation work performed.
• Coordinate with other teams to meet the work plan on time.
