Job summary

SAFEbuilt is looking for a Mechanical Inspector and Plans Examiner in the Town of Florida, NY. In this role, you will inspect mechanical installations and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of materials and practices used in building construction.
• Knowledge of flaws in mechanical systems and effective corrective measures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test mechanical installations during construction.
• Advise contractors on code compliance and issues.
• Conduct field inspections of HVAC and other mechanical systems.

Skills

Florida Standard Inspector License in Mechanical
