Job summary

Bender CCP, Inc. in Vernon, CA is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Inspector to ensure the quality of machined and repaired components.

You will inspect from as-found through in-process and final stages, using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Collaborating with Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations, you’ll identify issues, drive root-cause investigations, and ensure work meets drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with GD&T is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks and FaroArm or Laser Tracker is a plus.

Job description

$32-$40 per hour | Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM-3:00 PM | Occasional Overtime

Bender CCP is looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join our team and help ensure the quality and accuracy of the machined, repaired, and manufactured components we deliver to our customers.

In this hands-on role, you’ll inspect components throughout the repair and manufacturing process, from as-found inspections to in-process and final inspections. You’ll use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

You’ll work closely with our Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to identify issues, solve problems, and make sure work meets engineering drawings and specifications.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically minded, and takes pride in getting things right. Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment is important. Experience with GD&T, FaroArm, Laser Tracker, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus.
