Bender CCP, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Mechanic/Technician for the first shift to disassemble, diagnose, and repair industrial rotating machinery.

You will work with pumps, blowers, and components, reading technical drawings and ensuring precise fits, tolerances, and safety standards. The role includes field service support and potential overtime.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of industrial rotating equipment repair experience.
• Strong understanding of pumps, bearings, seals, fits, and clearances.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and read technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose rotating equipment.
• Perform equipment repairs, rebuilds, and precision mechanical assembly.
• Replace bearings, mechanical seals, shafts, impellers, couplings, and other components.
• Measure fits, clearances, and tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform equipment alignment, testing, and quality inspections.
• Assist with machining and component repairs as needed.
• Support field service assignments at customer facilities when needed.

Bender CCP is looking for an experienced Rotating Equipment Mechanic / Technician to join our First Shift team!

Are you someone who enjoys taking equipment apart, diagnosing problems, and bringing it back to working condition? If you have experience repairing pumps, blowers, fans, or other industrial rotating machinery, we'd love to hear from you!

Bender CCP is a full-service provider of engineered rotating equipment repair and precision machining services. With over 50 years of industry experience, we support customers in power generation, oil & gas, water and wastewater, chemicals, mining, pulp & paper, and general manufacturing. From machining and equipment overhauls to welding, fabrication, and field service, our team helps keep essential industrial operations running.

What You'll Be Doing

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose rotating equipment.

Position Details

• Pay: $35–$42/hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
• Overtime: Weekends and additional hours as business needs require.
