Job summary

Bender CCP is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Vernon, CA. You will inspect machined, repaired, and manufactured components, performing as-found, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and related tools to verify dimensions and tolerances, working with Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve issues and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment is important.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and advancing quality in manufacturing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components throughout repair and manufacturing process, from as-found to in-process and final inspections.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.

Job description

$32-$40 per hour | Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM-3:00 PM | Occasional Overtime

Bender CCP is looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join our team and help ensure the quality and accuracy of the machined, repaired, and manufactured components we deliver to our customers.

In this hands-on role, you'll inspect components throughout the repair and manufacturing process, from as-found inspections to in-process and final inspections . You'll use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

You'll work closely with our Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to identify issues, solve problems, and make sure work meets engineering drawings and specifications.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically minded, and takes pride in getting things right . Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment is important. Experience with GD&T, FaroArm, Laser Tracker, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus.
