Job summary

Winshaw Hydraulic Tools, a Houston-based hydraulics company, seeks a hydraulic technician to join its fast-paced team. You will install, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, read blueprints, and troubleshoot equipment on day one.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, occasional welding and fabrication, and testing parts; you will also review drawings and participate in part inspection and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulics and ability to start on active projects.
• Ability to read gauges to evaluate equipment performance.
• Disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment.

Winshaw Hydraulic Tools is a fast paced and dynamic hydraulics company based in Houston, Texas. Started in 2013, Winshaw has enjoyed continued growth and expansion over the years. Currently the next step in expansion requires the addition of another hydraulic technician.

• The installation, maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems.
• Read blueprints and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of hydraulic systems.
• Occasional welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly work.
• Must be able to provide drawing review and suggestions related to part inspection and testing.
• Must use computers, emailand other technologies to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment.
• Read gaugesto determine pressure as part of a system to evaluate performance of the equipment.
• Occasionally operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing.

The position demands a good knowledge of hydraulics and an ability to start working day one on projects currently under way.

Pay Rate based on experience.
