Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical General Laborer to join our team located at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base.

This position is responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at a construction site using hand and power tools of all types. Responsibilities include assisting other craft workers, cleaning and preparing sites, removing rubble and debris, and operating power construction equipment, all while adhering to safety practices. The role supports RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values, with on-the-job training and certifications provided as needed. Prevailing wages will be paid for work on a military installation.

Pay Range: $18.00-22.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One or more years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction; government, military, or large commercial experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and experience in logistics, warehouse, or residential work are a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. Additional preferred training includes forklift/manlift, fall protection, scissor/boom lift, and OSHA 10-hour certification.
